Bike Course

The Brighton Triathlon cycle route is a challenging two lap course taking in some local natural beauty sights along the way. You will head out along the coastal A259 road where you will pass by the world renowned Roedean Girls School and its magnificent central building overlooking the English Channel. Taking a left turn at the first roundabout the course then heads through the farming village of Ovingdean. This is where the course starts to climb upwards and where there are some tight turns to be accounted for. Through Woodingdean a left turn is made at the traffic lights but make sure you are in a low gear as the road steepens sharply for the next thirty metres. At this moment you are at the top of the South Downs and will head towards Brighton> racecourse where a left turn at the lights will take you on to Wilson's Avenue, a long fast downhill that has been used as part of the Tour De France route before. I hope that you enjoyed it, because a second lap awaits you.

After dismounting your bike and you’ll then head out onto the run

Run Course

The run is completely traffic free and takes in the scenic under cliff walk that links Brighton Marina to
Rottingdean. If you're going well you can track the competitors ahead of you, if not just gaze out to sea and
the white cliffs. The course is out and back and is another chance to post some fast times. This is where the finish
awaits as you make your way back to the Marina.
